Positions available for applicants over 18 years of age possessing a class B CDL license and a clear or reasonably clear driving record.  Licensee needs a P and S endorsements.  Routes drivers will be here 4 hrs. per day (2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon) five days a week.  Health insurance available and some extra hours driving extra- curricular trips.  There are 10 weeks in the summer when school is out that do not require drivers to be in attendance.

JOB Opening: General Grounds Keeper          DEPARTMENT: Facilities

Position available for applicants over 18 years of age. Position is full time with benefits including health care, vacation and holiday pay. Position starting salary is $10.00 per hour.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Grounds keeper primary responsibility will be to help maintain lawn maintenance at all district campuses and facilities ensuring a well groomed and presentable lawn site. Position may be required to work independently or with a crew necessary to complete task(s).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED. Possess at least a Class C Texas driver’s license and a clear driving record.

EQUIPMENT USED: Mowers, edger, tractors, weed trimmers, blowers, vehicles, tree trimmers, hedge trimmers, hand rakes, shovels, and other hand tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Heavy lifting of 61 or more pounds, continuous bending and stooping, frequent movement of arms and legs, continuous driving of vehicular and grounds maintenance equipment, continuous walking and standing.
