state-bound One Act Play "Edith Stein"…. this Friday, May 17th at 7 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium!
Admission is free; donations are accepted to help offset student expenses for the trip to the State Finals on May 21st at Bass Concert Hall in Austin!

If you haven't driven by the rapidly rising beautiful new Denison High School complex at the intersection of Highways 75 and 91 lately, you might want to do so! Situated on a high hill with panoramic views in all directions, the stately bones of the sophisticated new Smith Auditorium can now be seen rising above state-of-the-art classroom wings, athletic fields, cafeteria and administrative areas, where windows and sheet rock are currently being installed. Contractors say the application of bricks to the exterior will begin soon, giving the building the character and personality of the first class institution it is destined to be --- one that will reflect the exceptional quality of learning that will occur within its walls. "Our inaugural students who begin school at the new DHS complex in 2014 will experience firsthand the tremendous gift this community has given our children and our citizens," said Dr. Henry Scott, DISD Superintendent.
