Words cannot express how thankful we are for the Smith Foundation. We are so excited to announce that thanks to the extremely generous $1 Million Grant awarded to us by the Smiths, our Theatre at the new Denison High School will be aptly named The Smith Auditorium! This is going to make such a difference in the education and lives of our Students, Teachers, & Community! With the state-of-the-art equipment that the Smith Foundation Grant is going to enable us to buy, our building will be one of the absolute best in Grayson County, and our students will receive opportunities they would not have received without the generosity of the Smiths! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! We cannot wait to get into the brand new Smith Auditorium in 2014!
The UIL One Act Play Cast & Crew of Edith Stein are Top 8 in the State for 2013 & a 4th consecutive State appearance!
The DHS UIL One Act Play Cast and Crew of Edith Stein have advanced from the Regional Competition to the State Competition, competing on Tuesday, May 21st @ 7:30 - 1st in Second Session - @ UT Bass Concert Hall in Austin! Come support this amazing Cast & Crew! Public Performance will be Friday, May 17th @ 7pm in Eisenhower Auditorium! Tickets are FREE and Donations will be taken at the door to help send us to State! We appreciate your support and hope to see you there! Congratulations to all, and we wish you a Best of Good Shows at State!
The next Theatre Booster Club Meeting for Parents is, Thursday, June 6th @ 6pm in the Choir Room! See you there! This is an important meeting as we have a lot coming up in the Summer!
Grayson County College Performing Arts Camp is set for June 9-22, this Summer, 2013! There will be many opportunities in Performance and Technical Theatre! Sign up ASAP and we look forward to seeing you there!
