DISD Auction Surplus Information
The DISD Maintenance Department will publicly advertise surplus auction materials from time to time utilizing either an on-site auction at the DISD Service Center Annex Building or by listing surplus items on-line with www.renebates.com
auction services. Surplus items will include items no longer used or obsolete materials and supplies no longer needed by the school district.
Auction items can be viewed and bid can be placed
through the Rene Bates Auctions site.

The current auction will close February 21, 2020.
Vehicles that are being auctioned will include a VIS (Vehicle/Equipment Information Sheet) that will identify VIN/Serial #, Year of manufacture, Make, Model and other important vital information for the buyer to consider before bidding.
Description of condition will also be identified and listed as closely as can be described to the best of our knowledge.
Inspection for on-line auctions:
There will be at least two different days set aside for inspections of items to be bid on by DISD. These dates and times will be listed within the on-line auction at www.renebates.com for DISD.
Payment and Pickup:
On-Line Auctions: Cashier’s checks or Money Orders must be made out to Rene Bates Auctioneers, Inc.
Pickup: Buyers must present a copy of the paid receipt in order to pick up items.
Instructions & specific information will be given at the time of the auction for payment and pickup.
Note: All auction items are AS-IS-WHERE IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS THEREIN. DISD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ITEMS SOLD OR DAMAGES INCURRED.
