DISD School Board Complaints & Grievances
At regular Denison ISD Board meetings, the Board provides a time/opportunity on the Agenda that a person can address the Board for up to three minutes. This is intended as a time to communicate with the Board, but not to register a complaint or attack on another individual.
Board Policy Regarding Complaints and Concerns:
Employee Complaints: DGBA
Student or Parent Complaints: FNG
Public Complaints: GF
Before filing a formal complaint, the person should exhaust all remedies at the level the situation occurred to resolve the complaint. If for some reason the person feels a formal complaint is needed to resolve the problem, the complaint should be filed as a Level 1 Complaint with the lowest level administrator who has the authority to address and remedy the alleged problem.
