Smartboard has been installed, but is not connecting

  • Connect to Projector - Duplicate 

  • Windows (lower left hand corner)

  • All apps

If you projector looks faded out/dark - you will need to change the display setting Teacher Computers 7010 

In Extend mode - right mouse click on your desktop - select Display Settings 
Click on Advanced Settings Change the Resolution to 1600 x 900

In Duplicate mode - right mouse click on your desktop - select Display Settings Click on Advanced Settings Change the Resolution to 1280 x 1024

You will only have to do this once.

Projector problem with teacher computer 7010

Kronos not coming up. Click on Windows (lower left hand corner) Click on Control Panel under the Start Menu Under Programs click Uninstall a program Click on Java in the list, so that it is selected and you should now see Uninstall at the top Click on Uninstall Let it uninstall Go back to Kronos - let the install run You should then be able to get into Kronos.

Go to Network Printers. Find the Xerox to be installed - it will have XRX in the name. Click Connect - let it install. After install finishes, go to Devices & Printers (located under the Start Menu). Right mous click on the Xerox Device - Select Printing Preferences. Click on the Image Options tab. Click to put a checkmark in Xerox Black and White Conversion. Click Apply and OK. If it asks for a user name - enter your network login name.

  • Tap on Mail or Add New Mail Account  

  • Tap on Exchange

  • Enter your email address

  • Enter your email password

It should add your DISD email account. If it asks for a server/domain - then you email address or email password is incorrect.


Android Phone

  • Download the Outlook app

  • Tap on Office 365 and enter your information. Do not pick Outlook or Exchange
