Compensatory Education

Compensatory Education provides programs, services, and interventions for students who are economically disadvantaged, struggling academically, pregnant, or parenting. This site includes information about the School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), counseling and guidance, parent involvement, Pathways High School, Title I, Optional Extended Year, summer school, Comp Ed, Safe and Drug Free Schools, No Child Left Behind, Head Start, PreK, Homeless and Migrant Services.

Title I Funding

Title I provides federal funding for supplemental programs and services:

  • Tutoring

  • Computer Software

  • Technology Equipment

  • Staff Development

  • Instructional Materials

  • Library Resources

  • Salaries (Nurses, Counselors, Teachers, Lab Managers, Teacher Assistants)
