DISD Bond Updates

Stay up-to-date on the progress of the Denison ISD projects that are part of the BOND23 plan.  

Thank you Denison ISD Community! With your votes, the November 2023 bond election passed and we are grateful for the partnership and support of our wonderful community members. The bond proposal will allow for needed expansions at Houston, Lamar,  Elementary Schools to address the significant growth and provide relief from overcrowding.

The creative team at Corgan Architecture has created a virtual fly-through tour of the amazing design of the new B. McDaniel Intermediate campus scheduled to open in the fall of 2026.  

Terrell Elementary construction continues

Dirt is moving, demo is finished, and walls are going up as Pogue Construction continues the process of creating our new Terrell Elementary additions with additional spaces for teachers, staff and visitors.

The bond proposal will allow for needed technology upgrades for our students, staff, and classrooms, new buses providing safe and reliable transportation, and artificial turf to the fields at Denison High School.

NOTE: BenQ panels have arrived for Hyde Park, Mayes, Lamar, Terrell, BMC, DHS.  The rest are arriving by the end of June except for Houston which will be later this summer due to construction.
