Vision Forward for Downtown Denison, Texas
On February 18, 2014, a Downtown Visioning Session was hosted for the public by the City’s Main Street Advisory Board. The plan was intended to guide the City through the year 2020. Now, we would like to develop a new plan for 2030 with the input of shoppers, investors, loft dwellers, business owners, property owners, potential business owners, community partners, residents, and other interested parties. We want to learn more about what would make downtown a better place to have a business, shop, learn, be entertained, live, etc.
We are doing some long-range planning for Downtown Denison and need your assistance. We have a few questions that will take about 20 minutes of your time. Yes, this is an investment, but it is important!
We are looking 10 years down the road, and the survey will help guide how we make Downtown Denison the best it can possibly be!
SAVING FOR COLLEGE IN TEXAS
If college is part of your child’s future, we’ve got a plan to help save for it. The Texas Tuition Promise Fund® allows you to lock in current undergraduate tuition rates and schoolwide required fees at Texas public colleges and universities, excluding medical and dental institutions. Tuition units purchased in the plan may be used for all or a portion of these costs,
and our flexible payment options fit almost any budget.
It’s easy to open a Texas Tuition Promise Fund account.
And, the sooner you start, the more affordable a college education could be.
